As I was searching for statistics to share with you about the popularity of Blogs, it became quite evident that Blogs are becoming even more popular than traditional websites! Several companies have reported that their Business Blogs actually get more internet hits than does there official company websites. This fact is not surprising as consumers are interested in learning NEW information about companies. Blogs keep customers coming back (and purchasing more) because they keep people updated with useful information.
More business owners than ever now opt to use this effective marketing technique! Some companies choose to use a Business Blog alone however others choose to link their Blog to an official website. Both approaches are powerful and The Blogging Source now offers both services to our clients. The Blogging Source now offers Website Customization! We will customize both a website and a Business Blog for your company. Now that's powerful marketing!

Blogging with Personality
As a small business owner myself, I know how important it is to keep the doors of communication open with my clients. In fact, small businesses have an advantage over larger corporations because we are able to maintain a more personable approach with our customers. However, the internet age is upon us and it is pretty clear that the internet isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The internet is a great marketing tool because we can now reach prospective clients that were previously unattainable. However, how do we drive more traffic (and potential customers) to our websites without losing our personal approach?
Well, it has never been easier than it is now! With the growing popularity of Blogs, small business owners can interact in a personal fashion with ALL of their customers. Blogging allows your long distance customers to get a glimpse of that personal approach even if their interactions and transactions are primarily web based. Blogging can be used to introduce prospective customers to your employees or provide useful information in a friendly and conversational tone. Small Businesses can market their products and services over the internet without losing the small business advantage of "personality."

The Benefits of Hiring Professional Writers/Bloggers
I frequently encourage business owners to incorporate Business Blogs onto their company website because it is a strong marketing tool. Many owners, after hearing the advantages of Business Blogging, choose to utilize this effective marketing strategy. However, they sometimes decide to forego the expense of hiring a Professional Writer and opt to produce the content themselves.
If you have a niche for writing then this is an absolutely wonderful idea. What better way to increase web visibility and improve customer relations without increasing operating costs. However, for the business owner who is not as adept at writing, this could mean tredging in dangerous water. Poorly written Blogs will damage your company's image and reputation. If the quality of your Blog is poor, then customers will distrust your products and services.
When used correctly, Business Blogging is a very competitve marketing tool. However it is not without risk. A Business Blog contributes to the image of your company so you want to make sure that it is reflective of the quality of your products and services. If writing is not exactly your niche, it may be risky to take on Blogging by yourself.
Recent trends clearly indicate the benefits of Business Blogging and it is to your company's advantage to Blog regularly. If you want to increase your pool of customers but dread the thought of daily or weekly Blog updates, consider outsourcing the job to Professional Writers/Bloggers. When choosing whether or not to outsource, be sure to weigh the costs and benefits of hiring a professional to do the work for you. Considering how cost efficient Business Blogging actually is, it would certainly be worth your while to consider outsourcing to a professional. Your company will thank you!
